A very promising debut that was overshadowed by the follow-up soon. But it all was already here and you could hear that only good or even great things can be expected from Korpituli. mourner

Epic melodic German black metal like this can be an intensive experience. FLAGRAS know exactly how to write thrilling tracks with a lot of catchy soulful moments. Monuments like "Kairos" are full of atmosphere, inspiration and also majestic. The songs are not only multi-faceted and and as a result interesting for a long time, they are also well balanced between melancholy and a decent unpolished roughness. H.L.

The atmosphere of this album is fantastic. Makes you feel like you're knee-deep in the trenches drenched in mud, filth, sweat, and blood. Truly encapsulates the horrors of World War I, and the fact that the lyrics of some of the songs are taken from old war letters really adds to the authenticity.
